Importance Of Learning And Understanding Quran :

Allah says,

"And we have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember; then is there anyone who will remember (or receive admonition)?"
(Surah-e-Qamar 17)

Allah has gratified human beings by facilitating the recitation of Quran, understanding it and memorizing it by heart. And He promised to bestow reward in return. In spite of all this, if someone still avoids reciting, instructing and understanding it, he is highly deprived. Every Muslim is obliged to learn this book and recite it regularly.

Allah (S.W.T) says:

"Those to whom We have given the Book and they recite it observing the right of its recitation, they are the ones who believe in it"   
(Surah-e-Baqara 121)

This means these are the people who have been given Book and they recite it as it deserves. And with the recitation, who try to understand it and believe it, live according to its instructions and prefer it in every walk of life.
